Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Payments Platform to own how customers add and use bank accounts, cards, and digital wallets. You’ll oversee the end-to-end onboarding funnel and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize payments, risk, and performance.

You will drive multi-provider routing, shape verification strategies with Risk and Compliance, and collaborate with external partners on terms and integrations. This role directly impacts revenue and customer trust.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in payments, money movement, or financial platforms.
• Experience owning a payment or money movement funnel end-to-end at scale with measurable results.
• Strong analytical instincts and experience designing experiments.
• Knowledge of card payments, bank transfers, declines, retries, verification, tokenization, and routing.
• Experience with AI in product workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year strategy and roadmap for payment methods (banks, cards, digital wallets) onboarding.
• Drive intelligent onboarding routing across providers and banks to minimize outages and costs.
• Shape verification approach with Risk and Compliance to balance fraud loss and conversions.
• Partner with Business Development and external partners on terms and integrations.
• Lead payment method cost and performance reporting end-to-end for internal reuse.
