Job summary

AppZen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and lead integrations with external payment infrastructure providers, bringing enterprise-grade payments into an AI-driven finance workflow.

You will evaluate providers, own end-to-end integrations, and shape the payment experience across customers. You will partner with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate complex requirements into scalable capabilities while navigating secure, compliant

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including payments/fintech or payment infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating B2B payment capabilities.
• Experience evaluating and selecting payment processors, banks, networks, or other providers.
• Experience taking a payment product or integration from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy for extending AppZen into payments, including direct capabilities vs. partner solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and select external payment providers for integration.
• Build evaluation criteria for partners focusing on capability, reliability, security/compliance, and terms.
• Own payment integrations end-to-end with engineering and provider teams.
• Design the end-to-end payment experience from obligation to execution and reconciliation.
• Define how AI-driven automation integrates safely into payment execution within enterprise controls.
• Translate complex payment requirements into scalable capabilities for many customers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive adoption.
