Job description

Senior Product Manager, Patient Outreach and Communications

Innovation starts from the heart. Heart valve disease impacts millions of lives across all ages and geographies. As communities worldwide address cardiovascular care challenges, telling a compelling and authentic story is crucial. Beyond raising awareness, our marketing teams build lasting, trusted relationships with medical professionals and industry stakeholders to ensure patients receive necessary treatments.

Our groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) has pioneered innovative solutions for patients, offering heart valve replacement without open-heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business partners with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care, supported by clinical evidence. Join us in our inspiring journey to help patients live longer, healthier lives.

Note: This role requires onsite presence Monday - Friday.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Lead strategy and execution of post-procedure outreach programs, from ideation to performance tracking.
  • Develop multi-channel engagement strategies (email, phone, SMS, print, video) for post-TAVR patient recovery and long-term care.
  • Manage and scale the Patient Omnichannel CRM, ensuring tailored messaging and segmentation for meaningful engagement.
  • Analyze patient feedback and behavior data to improve campaigns, optimize patient experience, and report ROI.
  • Manage the Edwards Patient Community and Patient Advisory Council, elevating patient voices across initiatives.
  • Support patient opinion leaders in clinical trial recruitment, testimonial campaigns, speaker programs, and strategy sessions.
  • Lead patient-facing communications with empathy, especially for older populations.
  • Coordinate public awareness and PR campaigns, managing cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Implement national awareness campaigns, content launches, community activations, and media opportunities.
  • Source patient testimonials to support marketing, PR, and educational efforts.
  • Oversee content production from interviews to editing and approvals.
  • Maintain a library of patient stories and visual content for multi-channel use.
  • Manage budgets related to post-procedure initiatives, campaigns, and content production.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal data privacy guidelines.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 8 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, patient engagement, or direct-to-patient communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging elderly patients with high customer service standards.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and omnichannel marketing strategies.
  • Proven storytelling, video content creation, and patient interaction skills.
  • Excellent project and budget management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We offer competitive salaries, performance incentives, and benefits tailored to diverse needs. For California, the base pay ranges from $123,000 to $174,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
