Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Mobile Diesel Generators portfolio. You will define strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle while leveraging customer insights and market data to drive differentiating products and profitability.

You will lead cross-functional teams through new product development, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives, with a focus on growth and market share expansion. Strong collaboration and data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of product management experience.
Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
Ability to analyze data, interpret insights, and tell a clear story.
Customer-focused mindset and prioritization of customer requirements.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Define and execute strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of the Mobile Diesel Generators portfolio.
Use customer insights, competitive data, and market trends to differentiate products.
Identify opportunities, drive cost optimization, and establish market position.
Size and target growth segments; analyze competitive and regulatory landscapes.
Lead new product development from concept to launch with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with SIOP to develop demand forecasts and capacity plans.
Drive margin through pricing, positioning, and cost optimization.
Monitor product performance and adjust strategies to meet goals.
Support go-to-market activities including launches and sales enablement.
