Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
- 10+ years in upstream product management, product marketing, or product strategy in a new product environment.
- Strong technical background with experience on connected or IoT products with hardware, firmware and software solutions.
- Experience partnering closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Proven success bringing technical products from concept through commercialization.
- Expertise in translating VOC, market research, and product strategy into product requirements.
- Understanding of tradeoffs, priorities, and costs.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- HVACR, industrial equipment, instrumentation, or professional tools experience is a bonus.
- MBA or advanced technical degree is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy for hardware, firmware, and connected software solutions.
- Identify market opportunities through VOC research, field engagement, and competitive analysis.
- Partner with engineering to define product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps.
