Job summary

Consensys’ MetaMask team is seeking a product leader to own Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport. You will define identity primitives, build a scalable verification platform, and design a low-friction, privacy-conscious onboarding experience that meets global compliance.

You’ll partner with internal teams to drive adoption, balance trust and regulatory requirements, and deliver measurable improvements in onboarding conversion and transaction success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products.
• Strong background in fintech and Web3.
• Hands-on experience with identity verification providers (IDV vendors) such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity.
• Familiarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD).
• Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport, defining how a reusable identity layer unlocks the broader MetaMask product stack.
• Build the underlying identity platform, creating scalable verification primitives and standards.
• Design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience that reduces time-to-first-transaction while maintaining compliance integrity.
• Drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering with internal teams to integrate a consistent identity layer.
• Lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable outcomes.
