Job summary

MetaMask is hiring a leader for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport, owning the vision and roadmap for a reusable identity layer across the product stack.

You will build scalable verification primitives, design a low-friction KYC experience, and partner with internal teams to embed privacy, trust, and compliance across regions. This is a remote-first, global team shaping the future of Open Money.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products
• Strong background in fintech, ideally with exposure to Web3
• Hands-on experience with identity verification providers (IDV vendors) such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity
• Familiarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD)
• Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams
• Ability to operate across both technical systems and user experience

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport
• Define reusable identity primitives and standards
• Design a seamless, privacy-conscious KYC experience with compliance integrity
• Drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering with internal teams
• Lead end-to-end execution across cross-functional teams
