Salesforce is seeking a Product Manager to build scalable compute infrastructure and cost-efficient platforms. You will own platform capabilities, drive resource optimization, and apply AI to address scaling and availability challenges.

You will engage customers to refine the product roadmap, translate needs into capabilities, and represent Salesforce at events and communities with deep technical expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years minimum of Product Management, Solution Architect or similar experience.
• Technical depth in IaaS/PaaS, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD and observability.
• Technical degree required, preferably in Software Engineering.
• Proficiency with AI and data analytics tools (eg. SQL).
• Product management experience with KPIs and platform automation for self-service.
• Proven experience translating customer needs into product capabilities.
• Experience with resource optimization techniques (Karpenter/Kueue preferred).
• Direct experience with AWS, Google Cloud and Azure services.

• The role will focus on building new technologies that can scale the compute infrastructure while also running it in a cost effective manner
• Own and innovate towards building strategic platform capabilities such as resource optimization by leveraging the knowledge of Infrastructure/platform-as-a-service and open-source technologies
• Apply AI to understand user pain-points, investigate product maturity gaps such as in scaling and availability, build product concepts, and product ops
• Engage with customers and partners to build product capability roadmap, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities
• Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites
