Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Product Manager for forward deployed initiatives within the Mid-Market Product Management org. You will embed directly with strategic customers, diagnose their toughest business problems, and lead cross-functional teams that ship a solution on-site.

This role is customer-facing, high-pace, and travel-intensive, requiring you to translate into engineering requirements in near real time and stay accountable through go-live.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience in technical, AI-native products.
• Proven track record leading customer engagements from problem to shipped solution.
• Diagnose business problems on-site and translate into actionable requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% to customer sites.
• Exceptionally customer-savvy: read executive stakeholders, build trust quickly.
• High degree of technical understanding to collaborate with engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for practitioners and executives.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tech and enterprise finance products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagements on-site from discovery to go-live.
• Act as the primary product contact for the customer during engagements with executive stakeholders.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear, prioritized requirements for engineering.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to embed with teams.
• Identify patterns across engagements and feed back into the roadmap.
• Make sound product calls under ambiguity and time pressure.
• Earn buy-in from executives and internal stakeholders through credible storytelling.
