Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Sr. Product Manager to lead the Flight Management Systems (FMS) product line within the Connected Aircraft portfolio.

You will define and execute product strategy, shape investments, and drive growth across cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and contracts. The role focuses on roadmaps, new business opportunities, and delivering financial results while balancing customer needs with technology and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in avionics such as product/program management or systems engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update product line strategies and technology roadmaps to support business growth and long-term market competitiveness.
• Define how the product line will win in the market by evaluating customer needs, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.
• Present strategy updates in regular business reviews and track progress on actions and commitments.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Account Managers to engage customers early and represent the product line through industry events and demonstrations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by shaping solutions that address customer needs and supporting pricing and gate review activities.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop proposals and coordinate with engineering, pricing, contracts, and commercial operations.
• Own investment planning for the product line, including IR&D projects, and prioritize development efforts with engineering.
• Coordinate with program and sales teams to review and validate the product opportunity pipeline.
• Lead product execution for assigned programs as a key customer interface.
• Document plans, communicate effectively, and drive execution with a customer-focused mindset.
