Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the Connected Aircraft Navigation Systems, particularly the Flight Management Systems (FMS) line.

You will drive strategy, roadmaps, and investment plans while coordinating with sales, contracts, engineering, and program management to deliver competitive, customer-focused solutions. The role requires strategic execution, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to balance customer needs with technology and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant avionics experience in product/program management, systems engineering, or engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• U.S. citizenship status required.
• In-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1 if working remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update product line strategies and technology roadmaps to support growth and competitiveness.
• Define how the product line will win by evaluating customer needs, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.
• Present strategy updates in regular business reviews and track progress on actions and commitments.
• Engage customers early with Sales/Account Managers, represent the product line at industry events and demonstrations.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities by shaping solutions, competitive strategies, and supporting pricing/gate reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop proposals with engineering, pricing, contracts, and commercial operations.
• Own product line marketing content and coordinate with engineering for IP strategy.
