Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead the Flight Management Systems (FMS) product line within the Connected Aircraft portfolio.

You will drive strategy, roadmaps, and investments, partnering with sales, engineering, and program management to deliver differentiating solutions and financial results. You will coordinate with other PMs across the portfolio and support the Boeing 737 FMS update program, with preferred locations in Grand Rapids or Clearwater, FL; remote US-based work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant avionics experience in product/program management or systems engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• U.S. citizenship status required.
• In-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1 if working remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update product line strategies and roadmaps to support growth and competitiveness.
• Define how the product line wins by evaluating customer needs, competition, and investment priorities.
• Present strategy updates in reviews and track progress on actions.
• Engage customers early with Sales and Account Managers and represent the product line at events and briefs.
• Shape solutions to address customer needs, develop competitive win strategies, support pricing and gate reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop proposals with engineering, pricing, contracts, and commercial ops.
• Own product line investment planning including IR&D projects, prioritizing development with engineering.
• Identify external funding opportunities and drive early customer engagement and PoC activities.
• Build external partnerships to strengthen the portfolio and inform make/buy decisions.
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
