GE Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for the Connected Aircraft Navigation Systems to lead the Flight Management Systems (FMS) product line. You will define strategy, develop roadmaps, and drive cross-functional execution with sales, engineering, contracts, and finance.

Primary priorities include delivering differentiating solutions, shaping investment plans, and managing program execution, with a focus on Boeing 737 FMS updates and close collaboration with global teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in avionics, such as product management, program management, systems engineering, or engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
• New Hire Orientation in person on Day 1 if working remote.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and update product line strategies and technology roadmaps to support business growth and long-term market competitiveness.
• Define how the product line will win in the market by evaluating customer needs, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.
• Present strategy updates in regular business reviews and track progress on actions and commitments.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Account Managers to engage customers early and represent the product line at events and demonstrations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by shaping solutions, developing win strategies, and supporting pricing and gate reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop proposals with engineering, pricing, contracts, and commercial operations.
• Lead product execution for assigned programs, serving as a key customer interface.
• Own investment planning for the product line, including IR&D projects, and prioritize development with engineering.
• Identify and pursue external funding opportunities, including early customer engagement and proof-of-concept activities.
• Build external partnerships to strengthen the portfolio and inform make/buy decisions.
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity as a market intelligence leader.
• Coordinate with program and sales teams to review and validate the product opportunity pipeline.
• Own product line marketing content and collaborate with other teams on collateral.
• Support intellectual property strategy with patent reviews.
• Manage product line financial performance and assist forecasting.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on performance, risks, and progress.
• Operate with GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK principles to drive lean execution and customer focus.
