Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of a unified fleet and lifecycle management platform across multiple product lines. You will define what it means to be a managed component, and drive expansion plans across teams with a focus on value, complexity, and readiness.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and executives to build a cohesive experience across UI, API, and automation surfaces, while championing customer needs and AI-driven tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience leading complex platform products.
• Experience shipping infrastructure/DevOps/observability products, esp. fleet management or deployment tooling.
• Ability to align multiple engineering teams and drive roadmap without direct authority.
• Comfort with ambiguity and delivering incremental customer value.
• Strong technical fluency for architecture discussions with engineers.
• Experience designing products for AI-agent/automation use cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the vision and roadmap for a unified fleet and lifecycle platform across product lines and deployment models.
• Define what 'managed' means for each new component brought into the platform.
• Drive phased expansion by customer value, tech complexity, and readiness.
• Partner with engineering leads to align on architecture principles for diverse components.
• Represent customer voice for a UI and AI-agent/automation driven platform.
• Build business case, define success metrics, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Engage with customers and design partners to validate priorities and de-risk roadmap bets.
