Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a unified fleet and lifecycle management capability that spans multiple product lines and deployment models. You will partner with engineering teams to define a coherent experience across UI, API, and MCP while shepherding the roadmap and measuring success.

The role requires 5+ years in product management, strong technical fluency, and the ability to drive alignment without direct authority.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience with cross-product ownership.
Experience shipping infrastructure, DevOps, IT operations, or observability products.
Ability to align multiple engineering teams without direct authority.
Comfort with ambiguity and incremental value delivery.
Strong technical discussion skills on architecture with engineers.
Experience with AI-agent/automation use cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for a unified fleet and lifecycle management.
Define 'managed' scope for new components added to fleet.
Drive phased expansion sequencing components into fleet by value and complexity.
Coordinate with engineering leads to align on architecture principles.
Represent customer voice for UI and AI automation tooling.
Build business case, define metrics, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Engage with customers and design partners to validate priorities and de-risk bets.
