Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Product Manager to own the evolution of a cloud-based EV charging platform and charger hardware. You will drive roadmap strategy, balance engineering capacity with customer needs, and apply AI/ML insights to improve uptime and reduce costs.

You will work across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership to translate market needs into prioritized features, define KPIs, and guide successful releases that align software and hardware capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in SaaS, energy tech, IoT, EV infrastructure, or industrial software.
• Proven ability to work effectively between Sales and Engineering.
• Strong understanding of software and hardware lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Experience translating complex customer needs into clear product requirements for software and hardware.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and how they apply to reliability, forecasting, or optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product roadmap across a cloud-based EV charging platform and charger hardware.
• Balance customer needs, engineering capacity, platform scalability, hardware capabilities, and long-term architecture.
• Incorporate AI/ML opportunities to improve uptime, reduce costs, and optimize charging schedules.
• Define success metrics for new features and track post-launch performance.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to understand customer use cases across fleets, multi-family, and public charging.
• Develop clear product documentation (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and plan releases with Engineering.
• Ensure alignment between software releases and hardware capabilities.
• Define high-level specs for Level 2 and DC fast charging products and production readiness.
• Coordinate with energy infrastructure strategies (renewables, battery storage) and post-production support.
• Understand the commercial impact of product decisions, including pricing, monetization, and ROI.
