Electric Era is seeking a strong engineering manager to lead a world-class team responsible for the full product lifecycle—from ideation and development to field deployment and troubleshooting.

You will champion architecture across enterprise cloud software, embedded systems, and IoT while communicating with customers to sharpen product-market fit. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced energy-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of consumer/industrial electronics, aerospace, or automotive embedded systems or programming experience.
• Prior experience managing teams of 5 or more software engineers.
• Strong ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling live, consumer-facing software and scalable operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small but growing team of engineers and own the complete product lifecycle from ideation to field support.
• Champion software design and drive architectural vision across cloud software, embedded systems, IoT, and security.
• Communicate with customers, refine product-market fit, and maintain the software roadmap.
• Lead reporting to executives and develop the team's career growth into leadership roles.
• Oversee production deliverables, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure field readiness.
