Job description

Job Overview

As Senior Product Manager (e-commerce), you will own the vision, strategy, and execution needed to scale an e-commerce platform. You will evaluate the existing online purchasing platform, identify friction points that prevent clients from buying quickly, and build the roadmap to simplify and accelerate digital transactions. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, partnering closely with Engineering, UI/UX, and Marketing to drive measurable growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define, evangelize, and own the product vision and strategic roadmap for e-commerce capabilities, ensuring alignment with core business objectives and measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Lead strategic market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and ensure the product is positioned to win.
  • Translate deep market and user insights into clear, actionable product requirements, collaborating closely with Engineering and UI/UX teams to drive development.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to align digital advertising, SEO, and lead‑generation initiatives with the product roadmap.
  • Monitor e‑commerce performance, conversion funnels, and KPIs using analytics tools to continuously optimize acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Execution & Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle—from discovery and ideation through launch and iteration—ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality, customer‑centric capabilities.
  • Make decisive prioritization and trade‑off decisions, balancing technical constraints, resource allocation, and customer benefits to maximize business impact.
  • Lead cross‑functional coordination across Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Business Impact & Stakeholder Partnership: Align all product initiatives with key business outcomes, focusing on driving e‑commerce revenue growth, user adoption, and customer retention.
  • Serve as a domain expert for the e‑commerce stream, partnering with Go‑to‑Market (GTM), Sales, and Account Management teams to support commercial success.
  • Maintain comfort with occasional client‑facing situations to support high‑level engagements and inform product decisions.
Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated B2B e‑commerce experience—ideally having built, launched, or scaled an online purchasing platform or digital self‑serve buying experience.
  • Proven track record of driving e‑commerce revenue growth and improving online conversion metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing on digital advertising, SEO, and lead‑generation strategies tied to e‑commerce.
  • Strategic & analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market analysis, think strategically, and translate complex data into a clear product vision and profitable, user‑centric solutions.
  • Stakeholder management: outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels, from engineering teams to executive leadership.
  • Technical fluency: solid understanding of modern technology concepts (e.g., AI/ML, cloud computing, big data, e‑commerce platforms) to collaborate effectively with engineering partners on technical trade‑offs.
  • Business acumen: deep understanding of B2B SaaS and e‑commerce business models and key metrics, with experience developing product strategies that directly impact revenue and retention.
  • Go‑to‑Market (GTM) collaboration: experience partnering with marketing and sales teams to launch products and drive commercial success.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality, with excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfort in client‑facing situations to support senior engagements and future role growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with self‑serve SaaS purchasing models and reducing friction in digital buying journeys.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Pendo) and A/B testing methodologies.
Annual Pay Range

Benefits

  • 401(k) with company match and vesting after one year.
  • Annual well‑being stipend of $400 and tuition assistance up to $5,250.
