Principal, Product Manager
Location: Hybrid-remote
Job Description
The hybrid-remote Principal, Product Manager is responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path of current and future product lines. They engage daily in product development, roadmap, launch and profitability decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet revenue and profit goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Align product strategy with the 3-year playbook, shift from standalone to modular solutions, secure leadership buy-in, partner with finance and technology to build business cases.
- Product Management: Improve solution prioritization and feature requests, increase delivery efficiency through release cycles, assist sales and operations in critical enhancements and product implementations.
- Product Development: Enhance discovery and framing processes, adopt product-management methodologies, drive new feature development and ensure compliance with business objectives.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a roadmap with improved intake of features and prioritization.
- Product Delivery: Work with customers, partners and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions per business needs.
- Product Leadership: Engage in customer-facing activities such as conferences, tradeshows, and visits; assist marketing with industry-related content.
- Market Research: Conduct market research, review quantitative and qualitative data, client and user interviews to identify opportunities and competition insights.
- Financial Accountability: Manage ROI and financial analysis of products, balance return on investment with customer needs.
- Client Engagement: Promote and maintain company image, lead client meetings, reduce attrition risk based on VOC feedback and migrations.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work/industry experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 7–10+ years proven experience in high-tech business management, product management or marketing with forecasting, budgeting, strategy, research, pricing, and product development.
- Experience in data operations or residential real estate highly desired.
- Experience in product management and analytics highly desired.
- Experience managing large-scale data-driven applications.
- Experience taking products from inception to launch.
- Experience framing and negotiating deal terms including permissible use, pricing, and restrictions.
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience.
- Analytical skills with understanding of statistical models used in product solutions.
- Extensive user interface design experience.
- Ability to assess market opportunities, develop pricing, costing, and ROI analysis.
- Experience with project development methodology (Agile, XP) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Presentation skills to persuade large and diverse audiences.
Annual Pay Range: 128,700 – 150,000 USD
