Job summary

Iridium seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead planning and execution for the Project Authentic direct-to-device platform. You will manage hardware, software, and partner integration workstreams, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and engineering execution.

You will translate business and technical requirements into actionable plans, collaborate across functions to meet milestones, and drive technology for both commercial and government markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in product management or related technical industries.
• Demonstrated experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior leadership, partners, and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems, generate effective solutions, and deliver results from concept through execution.
• Strong judgment, creativity, and resourcefulness to advance product initiatives and resolve obstacles.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage shifting priorities, and handle multiple projects.
• Proactive in sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage advancement of Project Authentic across hardware, software, and integration workstreams.
• Develop roadmap inputs and product specifications for features, APIs, cloud orchestration, and partner integrations.
• Define requirements through market discovery in collaboration with engineering and external partners.
• Set acceptance criteria, KPIs, and release milestones; manage progress across sprints and dependencies.
• Analyze technical and market factors to inform product decisions and trade-offs.
• Engage with partners and engineers on integration activities and API/SDK alignment.
• Coordinate readiness for commercialization with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and ops.
• Inform pricing, packaging, and go-to-market through competitive intelligence and customer insights.
• Create product documentation and collateral for marketing, sales, and partners.
• Support business development through technical presentations and stakeholder coordination.
