Job summary

Cyclops seeks a Product Manager for Compliance and Onboarding to own KYB/KYC onboarding across its payment products. You will work with Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to translate regulatory requirements into product decisions, leveraging AI to speed up workflows while handling sensitive data responsibly.

You will partner with product directors and the AMLO in Vienna to ensure alignment with global regulations and to drive measurable outcomes for onboarding performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or crypto.
• Experience coordinating KYB or compliance requirements with regulated partners such as banks or payment rails.
• Experience designing/reusing KYB/KYC data-sharing models to reduce onboarding friction.
• Deep understanding of KYB and KYC flows and their impact on conversion and risk.
• Experience owning sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, risk scoring, or fraud prevention across fiat and crypto.
• Familiarity with Travel Rule requirements and jurisdictional applicability.
• Knowledge of MiCA, US MTLs, sanctions regimes, and AML requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory trade-offs with Legal/Compliance into shipable requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with metrics-driven mindset.
• Effective cross-team communicator with stakeholders.
• Experience using AI in discovery, analysis, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own KYB & KYConboarding product and onboarding flows for clients, merchants, and end customers.
• Coordinate cross-provider KYB orchestration with banks, rails, and liquidity providers.
• Reduce onboarding friction by reusing KYB/KYC work already done by clients.
• Own the compliance product suite: sanctions screening, monitoring, risk scoring, fraud prevention.
• Manage Travel Rule compliance across products and jurisdictions.
• Drive automation to replace manual reviews with AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Design to ensure regulatory soundness.
• Communicate progress, decisions, risk, and learnings across teams.
