Marqeta is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Credit team to own the end‑to‑end evolution of the credit platform. You will shape core services and collaborate with engineering, GTM, design, legal, and compliance to deliver market‑ready features at scale.

You will translate regulatory and architectural realities into product decisions, own the roadmap, and work with customers and stakeholders to validate solutions and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience focused on credit cards or lending.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with backend systems and APIs—engage with engineering on system architecture and data models.
• Deep technical acumen across APIs and distributed systems with production awareness.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Credit Platform Roadmap with multi‑quarter strategy and regulatory alignment.
• Define requirements for robust backend systems, APIs, and data models for credit accounts and transactions.
• Lead cross‑functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk.
• Collaborate with engineering on architectural decisions impacting accounts, transactions, and data integrity.
• Champion API excellence to enable external customers to build on Marqeta’s platform.
• Own feature prioritization across the credit domain and defend trade‑offs with data‑driven rationale.
• Engage external customers and internal stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions.
• Use analytics to identify platform gaps and measure feature impact.
