Senior Product Manager, Conversational Chatbot

We are seeking an accomplished, customer-obsessed, and results-oriented Principal Product Manager to drive our online and mobile experience serving millions of customers. This role, within the newly formed Service Consumer Experience team, will strategize, develop, and enhance the consumer journey through digital products.

Position Summary

You will work cross-functionally to guide complex products from conception to launch, connecting the product vision with solutions that solve business and customer problems. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development, modernize our experience and platforms, and leapfrog the competition.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, design, and other product teams to reimagine and build GEICO’s Digital Experience to serve customer service needs across the entire policy lifecycle. You will be a single-threaded owner of end-to-end experience across mobile app/web/desktop platforms, across all business lines, platform-agnostic.

This role is key to GEICO's digital transformation, working in cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge technologies, foster innovation, and ensure seamless digital solutions integration. Ideal for someone who is a builder and thrives in an ambiguous startup environment.

This hybrid position is based in either the San Francisco Bay Area or the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Build complex conversational AI and Chatbot experiences at large scale.
• Define and execute a multi-year unified vision in partnership with business and engineering teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams during product discovery and delivery.
• Synthesize data to identify opportunities, and turn insights into product strategy and requirements.
• Own and prioritize the product roadmap to achieve business outcomes.
• Partner with UX teams to deliver stellar customer experiences.
• Create, prioritize, and execute the product lifecycle related to policy experience.
• Leverage modern architecture and design to identify problem-solution fit.
• Evaluate trade-offs and negotiate requirements.
• Create artifacts like vision, roadmaps, features, and updates to influence stakeholders.
• Understand current and future architecture states.
• Identify and measure KPIs, refining the roadmap based on data.
• Mentor other Product Managers and help build a high-performing organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, building complex software and technology products at scale.
• Experience in consumer-facing online and mobile app products with a strong customer focus.
• Builder mindset with experience managing all product lifecycle aspects.
• Experience using data to inform decisions and drive change.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s in a technical field such as software engineering or computer science
• Experience in ecommerce, financial services, or digital-first companies
• Self-starter with ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.

Salary Range

$143,000 - $224,000 annually. Factors like experience, location, and responsibilities influence the final offer.
