Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards and production workflows in California. You will model taxonomies, guide editorial platforms, and partner with business units to deliver measurable learner outcomes.

You will drive AI-enabled content tooling, design governance artifacts from MRDs to PRDs, and coach other PMs while embedding the product operating model across content teams. Pearson values impact and practical execution.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in product management focused on content or publishing.
• Hands-on ownership of taxonomy, metadata, and quality frameworks.
• Experience with authoring, production platforms, and content delivery.
• Built or shipped substantial content systems with AI tooling.
• Experience in empowered product teams and value-centric planning.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive content standards aligned to learner outcomes.
• Redesign production workflows to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Collaborate with content leaders to plan and craft strategy.
• Build training and contribute to career architecture for content teams.
• Provide coaching to PMs and leaders across levels.
