Job summary

AF Group seeks a Senior Product Manager to shape product strategy across multi-line commercial insurance. You will act as a trusted underwriting expert, identifying opportunities and driving new market development while aligning with enterprise-wide best practices.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, develop business cases, and implement innovative programs to grow profitability, manage risk, and enhance overall underwriting quality across divisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of commercial property and casualty underwriting and product management/development experience.
• Experience with both small and large accounts; strong technical knowledge.
• Two years with the Enterprise as a Corporate Underwriting Consultant or equivalent.
• Residency in Eastern/Central Time Zones encouraged/preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; professional designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify markets, underwriting trends and regulatory changes; provide reports for profitable growth.
• Develop and monitor underwriting policies, procedures and governance for consistency.
• Lead new market and product development including business cases and implementation planning.
• Draft products, guidelines and letters of authority for new programs in multi-line insurance.
• Deliver training and presentations; advise stakeholders on underwriting issues and due diligence.
• Collaborate with enterprise units to support cost containment and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct policy wording reviews for renewals to ensure guideline compliance.
