Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. is seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the evolution of its capital cost estimation solutions. You will drive the product vision and execution for CAPEX/OPEX estimation tools for the process industry, translating complex engineering workflows into seamless web experiences.

You will lead SAFe practices, coordinate with R&D, manage the backlog in Azure DevOps, and collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical or business field; MBA desired.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software Product Management.
• Domain knowledge in capital cost estimation, cost modeling, or heavy industrial project planning.
• Deep expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and backlog management in tools like Azure DevOps.
• Exceptional communication skills bridging highly technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for the capital cost estimation portfolio, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead SAFe coordination with R&D, architects, and Agile Release Trains; manage backlog in Azure DevOps; write actionable features.
• Partner with R&D to integrate complex calculations and data fabric architectures for performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, domain experts, and stakeholders to translate cost-estimation workflows into intuitive web experiences.
• Conduct continuous discovery with end-users to capture pain points and convert feedback into the product lifecycle.
