Job summary

Aspen Technology in Bedford, MA is seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the evolution of capital cost estimation solutions, driving vision and execution for CAPEX/OPEX tools in the process industry. You will transform engineering workflows into seamless user experiences in a scaled agile environment.

You will own the roadmap, work with R&D, UX/UI designers, and sales, conduct continuous discovery with end users, and align stakeholders while delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering; MBA desired.
• 5+ years in enterprise software Product Management.
• Domain knowledge in capital cost estimation, cost modeling, or heavy industrial project planning.
• Strong SAFe expertise and backlog management in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for capital cost estimation portfolio.
• Lead SAFe coordination with R&D, architects, and Agile Release Trains; manage backlog in Azure DevOps.
• Partner with R&D to integrate calculations and data fabric architectures.
• Translate complex cost-estimation workflows into intuitive web experiences; support Sales and SC teams with engagements.
• Conduct continuous discovery with end-users to capture pain points and inform the lifecycle.
