Senior Product Manager - C5ISR

We are seeking talented candidates for several new Product Line Manager (PLM) positions within our C5ISR Modular Solutions business unit, which develops advanced embedded electronics. Candidates should have relevant industry experience, a passion for technology, and strong sales and business leadership skills. Positions are available in the US and Canada.

Location: US remote or based out of a Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions US facility (NOT CA, NY, MN)

As a Product Line Manager, you will oversee the success of the C5ISR product portfolio, acting as SME for specific product lines such as mission processing, signal processing, HPEC architectures, CPU/FPGA/GPU, networking, and emerging embedded edge AI systems. You will contribute to business growth through bids, proposals, and technical reviews.

Your Challenge:

1. Be a Senior PLM with experience in High Performance Embedded Computing and embedded signal processing systems, with knowledge of data workflows, CPU architectures, FPGA, and GPU processing.
2. Manage the commercial success of embedded product lines from inception to sunset, understanding market needs and technical requirements to develop innovative solutions.
3. Ensure products offer market differentiation to increase market share and revenue.
4. Develop strategies, business cases, ROI models, pricing, and forecasts for bookings, revenue, and design wins.
5. Collaborate with Engineering, CTOs, and marketing to define solutions for emerging market needs, including features, specifications, and cost targets.
6. Provide clear requirements to Engineering and support product development to meet market needs.
7. Oversee product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and ROI maximization.
8. Maintain product health through sales forecasts, margin monitoring, and market-driven enhancements.
9. Develop partner relationships to enhance value propositions.
10. Work with Sales, Business Development, Bids, and Contracts to build customer relationships and negotiate deals.
11. Analyze customer requirements and provide technical and marketing input on proposals.
12. Serve as SME for customers and sales teams, supporting pre-sales and providing insights.
13. Support marketing efforts, including product launches, white papers, and media content.
14. Drive third-party collaborations and participate in industry standards groups.

What You Bring:

• Relevant hardware/software engineering or business degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in Product/Engineering Management or technical Product Marketing.
• US citizenship with security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to understand market needs and develop innovative, differentiated products.
• Proven success in identifying opportunities and building relationships.
• Understanding of product, market, and marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of defense and aerospace embedded systems technologies and standards.
