Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver developer platforms and workflows supporting AV data review, triage, and auditing from logs. You’ll incorporate AI-driven diagnostics and partner across engineering, design, data science, and programs to build fast, scalable tools for the GM AV program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management, technical program management, software product development, data tooling, developer tooling, or related industry experience.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver software products or internal tools.
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex data, identify patterns, and make practical product recommendations.
• Ability to learn technical domains quickly and communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience gathering user feedback, documenting workflows, writing PRDs, and defining success metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own product requirements and roadmap priorities for internal web-based tools used to review, triage, investigate, and audit events from AV logs.
• Partner with autonomy engineers, data scientists, safety teams, operations teams, and developers to understand workflows involving multi-modal sensor data.
• Translate complex user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization recommendations.
• Improve reviewer and developer productivity by identifying workflow bottlenecks, usability gaps, performance issues, and opportunities for automation.
• Help evolve tools that are fast, intuitive, reliable, and scalable for GM AV program needs.
• Define and track product metrics such as time to signal, review throughput, time to triage, investigation cycle time, tool reliability, user adoption, workflow completion quality, and time saved through automation and AI support.
• Work with engineering and design to deliver high-quality experiences for visualizing, navigating, labeling, filtering, and analyzing AV data.
• Reduce time to signal through streamlined user experiences, workflow automation, assisted search, conversational interfaces, and AI agentic workflows with clear user control.
• Support roadmap planning by synthesizing user feedback, operational data, constraints, and program priorities.
• Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, launch plans, and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Stay close to evolving AV development needs and ensure internal tools support future workflows.
