Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver the roadmap for fleet-wide simulation and pre-production testing platforms that power Waymo Driver operations. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, and operations teams to build scalable tools and actionable roadmaps, enabling rapid experimentation and adoption across complex infrastructure.

This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to a Group Product Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with experience collaborating directly with engineering, UX teams, Data Science and operations teams.
• BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or similar technical field.
• Ability to deeply understand developer experience as it relates to pre-production testing and experimentation and use that empathy to drive a stellar product roadmap.
• Ability to translate company-level outcomes to team-level outcomes and build a product roadmap to achieve those outcomes.
• Direct ownership/accountability to highly technical infrastructure outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of extensive pre-production testing and experimentation through a fleet simulation platform.
• Define and deliver on the roadmap for fleet-wide simulation to evaluate impact of offboard changes to commercial performance (depot operations, ride hailing operations).
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand changes to evaluate and build a roadmap for multiple stakeholders.
• Work with Data Analytics to enable a simulation environment for ML & OR models prior to launch.
• Ensure Developer Experience supports large-scale adoption and deliver front-end tools to drive adoption.
• Turn complex operational and system-level pain points into a crisp roadmap.
