Amazon in New York seeks a Senior Product Manager - Technical External Services to own the AWS product model end to end, defining schema, governance, and quality standards for the catalog that powers billing, cost management, and AI agents.

You will define attributes, create standard models for services, and enable service teams to evolve products through configuration, shaping how Amazon’s commerce and external partners discover and compare offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager or equivalent in a software environment.
• Experience collecting requirements and detailing software product features and designs.
• Experience taking a product from conception to market with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, finance, or economics.

Responsibilities

• Define product framework: schema, attributes, quality rules, and lifecycle governance.
• Create standard product models and relationship patterns for service categories.
• Extend catalog with features, packages, and add-ons configurable by teams.
• Architect metadata standards for AI consumption across experiences.
• Drive adoption of product standards across offerings and catalog systems.
• Research with service teams to identify definitions gaps and improvements.
• Partner with engineering across billing, metering, and cost management.
