Job summary

Pearson is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own and shape product direction for advanced assessment capabilities, focusing on authoring, item banking, test assembly, and publishing workflows.

You will translate customer and market needs into a clear vision, roadmap, and backlog for agile delivery teams, driving discovery with stakeholders and ensuring governance, security, and fidelity in high-stakes assessments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an individual contributor PM delivering complex products.
• Strong discovery skills with interviews and usability sessions.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and governance in regulated environments.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, design, data, and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for assigned areas.
• Lead product discovery across authoring, review, psychometrics, and publishing workflows.
• Balance customer value, business outcomes, and feasibility with compliance constraints.
• Identify opportunities with generative AI to improve authoring efficiency and outcomes.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to executives and teams.
• Own quality from concept to delivery and ensure successful shipping.
