Job summary

Guidewire’s PolicyCenter sits at the heart of insurer policy administration, powering underwriting, rating, and policy management for many leading carriers. As Senior Product Manager, you’ll own a defined area from discovery to launch and work with carriers, engineering, and design to ship features that shape how insurers quote, underwrite, and manage policies for millions of policyholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Direct experience with P&C insurance (policy administration, underwriting, rating, forms, endorsements, renewals, or quoting).
• Track record of shipping meaningful features end‑to‑end beyond backlog management.
• Solid technical fluency: read API contracts, reason about data models, and discuss design with engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate between customer language, product spec, and engineering detail.
• Collaborative by default; comfortable working with senior PMs and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own an area of PolicyCenter from discovery to adoption.
• Run the discovery–delivery loop with carriers, document problems, write specs, and collaborate with engineering and design.
• Contribute to the roadmap with evidence and clear priorities, including AI/LLM opportunities.
• Engage directly with carrier customers and translate learning into product investments.
• Partner with engineering on scoping, sequencing, and technical trade-offs.
• Coordinate with PMs across BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Guidewire Cloud Platform, and rating/underwriting integrations.
• Stay close to live customers; triage production issues and guide the path forward with engineering guidance.
• Define success metrics (quote-to-bind time, straight-through processing, renewal retention, CSAT) to drive bets.
