Job summary
MAPFRE is seeking a Senior Technical Engineering Leader to drive Guidewire PolicyCenter architecture, configuration, and integrations across policy lifecycle workflows. You will partner with Product and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions for quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, amendments, renewals, and servicing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise applications.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading teams or large-scale initiatives.
- Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter development, configuration, and integrations.
- Strong experience developing solutions using Java, Gosu, and OO design.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated success leading complex technical projects from concept through production deployment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering best practices.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Guidewire PolicyCenter and Policy Lifecycle initiatives.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-scale solutions within PolicyCenter.
- Lead architecture discussions for new capabilities, enhancements, and integrations.
- Drive modernization with cloud adoption, API enablement, and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ensure performance, security, reliability, and audit readiness of solutions.
