Job summary

OPENLANE seeks a Senior Product Manager for the Canada Digital Marketplaces team. You will own strategic product domains influencing growth, customer experience, and differentiation, defining strategy and roadmaps and leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.

You will leverage AI and data to uncover customer needs, drive measurable outcomes, and shape buyer experience in the Canadian wholesale digital marketplace. Strong analytics and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience at senior level.
• Proven track record of defining, launching, and scaling digital products.
• Experience owning complex product domains with measurable business results.
• Strong strategic thinking and alignment with company objectives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including exec presentations.
• Experience conducting customer interviews and structured product discovery.
• Strong analytical skills using data for prioritization and decisions.
• Deep understanding of agile product development processes.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Familiarity with AI-driven development and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Define and own product strategy and roadmap for key digital marketplace initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and optimization.
• Identify market opportunities and develop data-backed business cases.
• Conduct deep discovery, customer research, and competitive analysis.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to evaluate approaches and ensure quality execution.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and feasibility.
• Define, monitor, and report on KPIs tied to revenue, engagement, and satisfaction.
• Drive executive-level communication on strategy, trade-offs, and performance.
• Mentor and support other product team members.
