Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Senior Staff Product Line Engineering Architect to lead Product Line Architectures adoption. This role supports the Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity division and aligns with NG digital transformation.

You will coach teams on PL principles, tailor processes, and use MBSE tools (Cameo, IBM Rhapsody) to manage product line variation across divisions. A top-tier clearance or eligibility is often required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM plus 12+ years of related experience or higher degrees with more experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and making sound technical judgments.
• MBSE experience using tools like IBM Rhapsody and Cameo; systems engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with senior technical and business leaders to guide PLA adoption.
• Adapt architecture experience to increase product line efficiency across Development and Production.
• Drive organizational change to increase product line adoption across Mission Systems.
• Apply MBSE tools to define product line strategy and track variation.
• Create coaching materials and conduct PLE-focused trainings and demonstrations.
• Document status and processes using Confluence.
