Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Staff Product Line Engineering Architect to lead the Product Line Engineering effort in San Diego, CA or Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on applying MBSE to create efficient product lines and guiding divisions through architectural adoption.

You will coach teams, develop materials, and drive organizational change to align PL strategies with NG digital initiatives, using tools like Cameo and IBM Rhapsody Architect.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 14+ years of related experience; or Master’s with 12+ years; or PhD with 10+ years.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing technical leadership and sound judgments.
• Experience with engineering on a program including design, development, testing and delivery to customer.
• System Engineering including requirements management, systems architecture and MBSE using tools such as IBM Rhapsody and Cameo.
• Exposure to traceability across the systems engineering lifecycle, governance, family of systems, MBSE architectures, and variant management.
• U.S. Citizenship and current Government Secret Clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and SAP.

• Build relationships with senior technical and business leaders to guide PLA adoption.
• Adapt systems and software/architecture experience to increase product line efficiency and adoption.
• Drive organizational change to increase product line adoption across Mission Systems.
• Use MBSE tools to define and shape PL adoption strategy at division level.
• Provide coaching on PLA principles and adoption processes to teams and leaders.
• Create coaching materials including tools, templates, techniques and processes.
• Help teams create/modify product lines using MBSE tools like Cameo, Rhapsody Architect and Pure::Variants.
• Schedule and conduct PLA education and awareness sessions and demonstrations.
• Ensure product line engineering strategy aligns with NG’s digital transformation.
• Use Confluence to document status and new processes.
