Job summary

NRG Energy's Vivint Smart Home unit seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Product Lifecycle to own the end-to-end P&L and sunset framework across devices and software. This 0-to-1 role will standardize financial rigor and drive data-driven sunset decisions with cross-functional teams.

You will design a scalable End-of-Life process, model upgrade economics, and align pricing with margin targets. Hybrid in Seattle, WA with in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of experience in product finance, FP&A, business operations, or a finance-focused product strategy role.
• Lifecycle exposure: experience building or maturing a product P&L framework, pricing model, or end-of-life process.
• Cross-functional track record partnering across finance, supply chain, and product teams.
• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Finance, Business, Economics, or related quantitative discipline; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the standardized P&L framework used across the product organization.
• Design pricing strategies aligned to margin targets with data support.
• Monitor product financial performance including margins, warranty drag, and upgrade costs.
• Build rigorous business cases for investments, extensions, or sunsets with leadership.
