Job summary

NRG Energy, via Vivint Smart Home, seeks a Sr. Product Manager to own P&L rigor and lifecycle sunset strategy for devices and software. You will build a standardized P&L framework and lead the new End-of-Life process across teams, grounded in data and financial discipline.

You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Product to ensure pricing, costs, and sunset decisions are data-driven. This is a Seattle-based hybrid role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in product finance, FP&A, or finance-focused product strategy.
• Experience building or maturing a product P&L framework, pricing model, or EOL process.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across finance, supply chain, and product.

Responsibilities

• Design and roll out a standardized P&L framework for devices and software.
• Model financial tradeoffs for upgrade paths and subsidy structures.
• Build and maintain mechanisms to monitor product financial performance and sunset decisions.
• Partner with Roadmap and Product Managers to develop data-backed business cases for investments or sunsets.
