Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Math, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Progress towards or completion of CIC, AU, CPCU designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, evaluates and manages problem markets, underwriting trends and regulatory changes; reports and recommends profitable growth and sound underwriting practices.
• Develops, implements and monitors underwriting policies, workflows and governance to promote consistency across units.
• Leads new market and product development efforts, including business cases, design, implementation planning and cross-functional coordination for multiple commercial lines.
• Drafts and implements new products and underwriting guidelines for multi-line commercial insurance.

Education

Progress towards or completion of CIC/AU/CPCU designations
