Job summary

BioTalent, a San Diego genomics company, seeks a Product Manager to own strategy and commercialization for a next-generation platform in sepsis, pathogen ID, and AMR. This hybrid product + marketing role spans RUO, LDT, and IVD development phases.

You will shape the roadmap, craft business cases, and drive GTM from concept to launch. Strong background in diagnostics and autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management/marketing experience in diagnostics or life sciences.
• Hands-on experience with IVD and LDT development.
• Track record building business cases and driving GTM strategy from concept to commercialization.
• Molecular diagnostics experience in sepsis/pathogen ID strongly preferred.
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap, translating clinical/VOC insight into requirements.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and competitive analysis to guide investments.
• Lead go-to-market strategy including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launches.
• Drive end-to-end product launches and track post-launch adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, assay, and commercial teams.
