Job summary

Genentech seeks a Principal Business Product Manager for the 360 Insights pillar, based in South San Francisco with a hybrid schedule. You will shape the portfolio strategy, translate commercial/medical needs into scalable analytics capabilities, and own end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to enterprise-wide scaling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of professional experience including 5+ years in pharmaceutical analytics, digital product management, or business analytics product management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the 360 Insights portfolio.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch and scaling.
• Partner with RDT, Data Science, AI/ML, Data Product, and Activation teams to guide delivery.
• Embed Agile product management practices using Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence.
• Lead user research, prototype validation, and UX/UI design with business champions.
• Define requirements, explainability standards, and human-in-the-loop oversight for advanced analytics and generative AI.
• Establish launch-readiness criteria, governance, and regulatory guardrails.
