Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Principal Business Product Manager for the 360 Insights pillar in South San Francisco. This director-level role bridges business strategy, UX, data architecture, and AI/ML to deliver enterprise analytics products that empower CMG teams and patients.

You will own the multi-year roadmap, partner with RDT and Data teams, and lead an Agile product culture with Jira/Confluence usage. Hybrid work schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in pharma analytics or digital/product management.
• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical commercial and healthcare data domains.
• Proven track record managing enterprise data/products across full lifecycle.
• Executive presence and stakeholder influence; capable of aligning cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for the 360 Insights portfolio.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch and scaling.
• Partner with RDT, Data Science, AI/ML and Activation teams to guide delivery.
• Embed Agile practices across the portfolio using Jira, Jira Product Discovery and Confluence.
• Lead user research, prototype validation, and UX design with business champions.
• Define requirements, explainability standards and human-in-the-loop oversight for AI capabilities.
• Establish launch-readiness criteria, governance, and regulatory guardrails within healthcare compliance.
