Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management or product strategy.
• Strong understanding of the card payment ecosystem including authorization, clearing, and settlement concepts.
• Ability to map end-to-end Card Present transaction flows (EMV, contactless, PIN) and Card Not Present flows (e-commerce, gateway, recurring billing).
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS requirements and how they influence product design and controls.
• Data-driven approach to diagnose payment performance issues and interpret trends.
• Clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering delivery and QA.
• Proven collaboration across product, engineering, risk, compliance, operations, and commercial teams.
• Ability to communicate complex payment topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Card Present and Card Not Present capabilities across in-store and digital journeys.
• Translate research and merchant feedback into clear requirements and user stories.
• Drive adoption of 3D Secure 2 and authentication features to improve approvals and reduce fraud.
• Coordinate fraud screening and decisioning to balance customer experience, losses, and compliance.
• Plan upstream/downstream impacts on routing, declines, and reconciliation for new features.
• Monitor key metrics like approval rates, latency, declines, and fraud ratios.
• Collaborate with networks and partners for certification and rule compliance.
• Work with risk, compliance, and legal to meet PCI-DSS and PSD2 where relevant.
• Support global settlement currency needs and funding flows for launches.
• Align product design and network programs with business goals to optimize interchange costs.
• Communicate trade-offs, plans, and results with stakeholders, with clear logs.
