Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Manager – Restaurant Technology Hardware in St. Louis.

You will lead the hardware lifecycle for Panera’s 2200 bakery-cafes, coordinating with deployment, inventory, supply chain, and operations to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of technology solutions. Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, roadmap maintenance, and stakeholder collaboration to meet business, legal, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in restaurant technology, technology deployment, hardware lifecycle management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills.
• Ability to learn, understand, and apply new concepts and technologies.
• Able to adapt to priorities, demands and timelines through analytical problem-solving.
• Experience in food services operations or restaurant tech environments preferred.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies such as SAFe, Agile, or Lean Agile.
• Proficient with Windows 10, iOS, browsers, Microsoft Office, Jira, Jira Align, Workday, and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware lifecycle management programs for Panera’s restaurant hardware across 2200 bakery-cafes.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize requirements, maintain roadmaps and backlogs, and manage vendor contracts.
• Create and maintain budgets for capital projects and maintenance.
• Manage OEM/Vendor relationships, including contract administration and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to meet legal, security, licensing, and process requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Deployment to ensure inventory and readiness for initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
