Job summary

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Product to design, build, and own end-to-end product features with a strong backend foundation and React expertise. You’ll ship features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end users, collaborating across frontend, backend, and data boundaries.

You’ll work in a remote-first environment with autonomy and a focus on shipping quality software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend foundation
• Ability to write advanced SQL statements beyond basic SELECT/UPDATE
• Proficient in React and frontend development
• Comfortable owning UI work, not just backend APIs
• Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals; understanding of HTTP and browser-server interactions
• High bar for quality; ability to cut scope when needed while delivering value
• Customer-obsessed mindset: think like the developer/product manager using the feature
• Builder mindset: own scoping, prioritizing, and rollout in partnership with Product team
• Able to learn code you didn’t write and improve it, including with AI tools
• Shipped meaningful user-facing features to production and improved them over time
• Writes high-quality, well-tested code and mentors others

Responsibilities

• Design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of users
• Work across frontend, backend, and data boundaries with thoughtful tradeoffs for reliability
• Own problem definition through production rollout and long-term maintenance
• Participate in code reviews, bug bashes, and technical discussions
• Mentor other engineers and raise the engineering bar with feedback
