Job summary

TSMC Washington, LLC is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Product Engineer to lead yield enhancement initiatives and provide advanced technical support to our key customers. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across Fab Process Integration and Module teams to achieve sustainable gains.

The ideal candidate will have a deep mastery of device physics and CMOS processes, with 8+ years of related experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or closely related field.
• 8+ years in CMOS device physics and process integration with a track record.
• Strong understanding of advanced circuit design principles and semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Yield Leadership: Architect and lead complex yield improvement programs with Fab Process Integration and Module teams.
• Advanced Failure Analysis: Use statistical data analysis, electrical characterization, and physical failure analysis to mitigate failure modes and improve yield.
• Process Window Optimization: Apply device physics and process knowledge to expand the process window and boost product performance.
• Customer Technical Partnership: Serve as a primary technical liaison providing high-level technical and manufacturing consultation to strategic customers.
• Product Ramp-Up & Success: Drive on-time product ramp-ups with proactive problem resolution.
