Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years’ experience.
• Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
• Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Exceptional clear communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment.
• Lead product development projects from prototyping, development, deployment/release, and initial field support.
• Independently design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
• Present analysis and support technical recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.
• Provide technical support for installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
• Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including travel to customer sites for near-term releases.
