Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Product Engineer to drivedevelopment of cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and processes. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, providing real-time problem-solving to complex challenges while supporting product prototyping, development, deployment, and initial field support.

You will design experiments, analyze results, and present actionable recommendations while traveling up to 25% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3+ years of experience; or PhD with no professional experience; or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• All new hires are expected to be hands-on in the lab as part of day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality.
• Supports product development from prototyping, development, deployment/release, to initial field support.
• Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
• Create clear reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide product development.
• Provide technical support for installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
• Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including travel to customer sites for near term releases.
