IMMI is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join our seating team in Westfield, Indiana. You will oversee design and development of seating products, using APQP, CAD, validation and product release processes to meet performance, cost, and timing targets.

You will collaborate across departments to drive design concepts, prototypes, and technical reports, ensuring regulatory compliance and manufacturability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years in mechanical/automotive engineering; 4+ years in seat system design and development.
• 3+ years in seat structure design for high-volume forming, stamping, drawing.
• 3+ years in seat motion or adjustment mechanism design.
• 4+ years of experience with CATIA V5 or SOLIDWORKS.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute system requirements for seating products and related components.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for part sourcing and design.
• Achieve customer-driven system targets for function, cost, and weight; support with technical information and reports.
• Lead iterative design improvements balancing form, function, and cost.
• Formalize seat solutions considering Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
